Роден в Добрич през 1986. Учи живопис в Национално училище по изкуствата, Варна. През 2005-а година заминава за Париж, където завършва пластични изкуства в Сорбоната. Този период е свързан с "Това, което не се променя", или с търсенията му в жанра на хуманистичната фотография от средата на миналия век. Този цикъл фотографии е представен в Париж, Берлин, Франкфурт, София, Пловдив и Варна. Автор на повече от 30 самостоятелни и колективни изложби в България, Франция, Германия, Ирландия, Хърватска, Сърбия, Унгария и Кипър. Негови произведения са в колекциите на големи официални институции по света. През 2011 г. Валерий Пощаров основава първата онлайн галерия за съвременно българско изкуство - www.cavalet.bg
Né en 1986 à Dobrich, dans le Nord-Est de la Bulgarie. En 2005, après des études de peinture à l'École Nationale des Arts à Varna, il s'installe à Paris où il poursuit des arts plastiques à la Sorbonne. Dans cette période il travaille sur le sujet "Ce qui n'a pas changé" et s'est consacré à la photographie humaniste, typique pour les années 50 dans la France. Il en a réalisé plusieurs expositions à Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Sofia, Plovdiv et Varna. Auteur dans plus de 30 expositions personnelles et collectives en Bulgarie, France, Allemagne, Irlande, Croatie, Serbie, Hongrie et Chypre. Ses oeuvres font partie des collections de plusieurs institutions officielles dans le monde. En 2011 Valéry Poshtarov a fondé la première galerie en ligne d'art contemporain bulgare - www.cavalet.bg
Born in Dobrich, North-East Bulgaria in 1986. He studied painting at the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov" - Varna. In 2005 he moved to Paris where he graduated Plastic Arts at the Sorbonne. This period is related to his cycle "What does not change" and to his vivid interest in the genre of the classical French humanist photography from the middle of the last century. This cycle is presented with exhibitions in Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna. Author of more than 30 individual and collective exhibitions in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Ireland, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary and Cyprus. His works are part of major collections of different official institutions in the world. In 2011 Valery Poshtarov founded the first on-line art gallery for Bulgarian contemporary art - www.cavalet.bg
